This Privacy Policy explains how Number 44 s.r.o. (hereinafter — the "Company", "we", "us") processes personal data on the website n44.io and in the course of its commercial activities.
Number 44 s.r.o. is a distributor of artificial intelligence-based software for the automation of consultations and lead generation in the building materials, solar shading systems, glazing systems and alternative energy sectors. The Company carries out sales, integration and technical support of AI assistants developed by the Technology Provider.
Information about data processing on the AI assistant platform (SaaS) is provided in Part 2 of this Privacy Policy.
Our website and CRM system are hosted on the servers of Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). The servers are located in Germany (EU). Each time the website is accessed, Hetzner automatically stores log files (server log files) containing: IP address, the page accessed, date and time of access, browser type and operating system.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For all non-essential cookies and tracking technologies, we obtain your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

For customer relationship management, we use a CRM system hosted on the servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Data collected through contact forms and enquiries is processed in this system. No data is transferred to third countries.

Our website features demo versions of AI assistants through which you can familiarise yourself with the capabilities of our software. During interaction with the demo chat, the following may be processed:

Important: Demo versions use fictitious information and do not represent any real company or brand. Any similarities with real companies are coincidental.
Demo chat data is processed on the servers of the Technology Provider, located in Düsseldorf, Germany. Number 44 s.r.o. does not have access to the content of dialogues.

Several communication channels are available for contacting our support service, including email and messengers. When contacting support, the following may be processed: name, contact details and the content of your enquiry.

For the distribution of informational and marketing communications, we use the Rapidmail service (rapidmail GmbH, Augustinerplatz 2, 79098 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany). Rapidmail is an EU-based provider; no data is transferred to third countries.
When you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is transmitted to Rapidmail and stored for delivery purposes. Subscription is carried out via a double opt-in procedure: after entering your email address, you will receive a confirmation email which you must confirm.
Each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link, by means of which you can withdraw your consent at any time. After withdrawal, your email address will be deleted.

At the time of publication of this Policy, Number 44 s.r.o. does not have official pages on social media platforms. In the event of such pages being created, this Policy will be updated with the relevant information about data processing.
For the processing of payments for subscriptions to our services, we use Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Limited, Block 4, Harcourt Centre, Harcourt Road, Dublin 2, Ireland). Stripe processes the data necessary for carrying out payments: billing address, payment card details and transaction information.
Stripe is based in the EU. The parent company Stripe Inc. (USA) is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
The Company may additionally use other payment services to ensure convenience of payment. In the event of new payment providers being added, this Policy will be updated.

For the provision of our services, we use large language models (LLMs) from various providers. The selection of the specific model and provider is made by the Company and/or the Technology Provider at their own discretion and may change over time to ensure optimal quality of services.
LLM providers may include, but are not limited to: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta and others. All providers are required to comply with GDPR requirements and have data processing agreements (DPAs) in place.
Key data protection guarantees:
User data is not used by AI providers for model training.
User profiling is not carried out.
Query processing is carried out on servers within the EU.
Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR have been concluded with all providers.
Our AI assistants may be integrated with messaging platforms, including WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland). Integration is carried out directly via the Meta API.
When interacting through these channels, Meta may process personal data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. We recommend that you familiarise yourself with Meta’s Privacy Policy.
Data collected through messengers is transmitted directly between the client (the company ordering the AI assistant) and the Technology Provider. Number 44 s.r.o. does not have access to the content of these messages.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (user consent to interaction via messenger).
Personal data of clients (B2B subscription customers) is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and after its termination — in accordance with the statutory retention periods (5 years for accounting documents and up to 10 years for tax documents under the legislation of the Czech Republic).
Data collected through contact forms and support enquiries is retained for 2 years from the date of the last communication, unless otherwise required by applicable legislation.
All primary data processing operations are carried out on servers within the EU/EEA (Germany). Some of our technology partners are subsidiaries of American corporations. For all such partners:

Roles in data processing:
a) Number 44 s.r.o. as data controller: For the data of B2B clients (companies purchasing a subscription to AI assistants), including contact details, payment information and data necessary for the provision of services.
b) Technology Provider as data processor: For the data of end users (visitors to client websites who interact with the AI assistant), the data processor is the Technology Provider. The Client (ordering company) is the controller of such data.
c) Number 44 s.r.o. does not have access to the personal data of end users who communicate with the AI assistant on client websites. Such data is transmitted directly between the client and the Technology Provider.
The entire infrastructure of the AI assistant platform is hosted on servers in Düsseldorf, Germany (EU). Control over servers and data security is exercised by the Technology Provider.
Each AI assistant is isolated: the knowledge bases and data of each client are fully separated from other clients at the software level.

The AI assistant platform uses large language models (LLMs) to respond to queries from end users. The selection of specific models and providers is made by the Company and/or the Technology Provider at their own discretion.
Key guarantees:
End user data is not used for training AI models.
User profiling is not carried out. The AI responds to each query individually without combining data across different sessions.
Query processing is carried out on servers within the EU (Düsseldorf, Germany).
Each AI assistant operates in an isolated environment with its own knowledge base.
Data of B2B clients is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and after its termination — in accordance with the statutory retention periods.
The data retention and deletion policy for end user data is determined by the Technology Provider and the client (ordering company) in accordance with the agreements concluded between them.
